Buying on Nuveta
When is Nuveta launching?
Soon. We're onboarding founding brands first, because a marketplace with nothing to buy isn't much use. Join the waitlist and we'll email you the moment it opens.
Is it free to use?
Completely free for shoppers. You pay for what you buy and for delivery, and nothing else.
How do I know a brand is real?
Every brand submits a NIN or a CAC certificate before it can sell, and we check the name against the bank account they want payouts sent to. A mismatch gets escalated.
How do I pay?
From your Nuveta wallet, with payments handled by Paystack. Card details never touch our servers. Paying by card directly at checkout is coming.
Who delivers my order?
We do. The brand packs your order and hands it to us, and we get it to you. We pay the courier.
Which cities are you in?
Lagos first, plus one or two more cities at launch. We'll confirm exactly which before we open, and you can only check out to an address we deliver to.
Can I cancel an order?
Yes — before we dispatch it, and you get a full refund to whatever you paid with. Once it's on its way, email us and we'll sort it out with the brand.
Why is each brand a separate order?
Because each brand packs and hands over its own parcel. Keeping them separate means each one is priced, confirmed and delivered on its own, and a problem with one doesn't hold up the others.

Selling on Nuveta
What does it cost to sell?
10% commission on what you sell. Our first 30 founding vendors pay 0% for their first 12 months. There's no setup fee and no listing fee.
When do I get paid?
Once we dispatch an order, your earnings settle at 1am the next morning and you can withdraw to your bank at any time after that.
Will the commission change?
If we change the standard rate you get 60 days' notice, and the change never applies to orders you've already taken.
Do I need a registered business?
No. A NIN is enough. A CAC certificate works too if you have one.
Do I have to arrange delivery?
No. Pack the order, mark it ready, and hand it over. We collect and deliver, and we pay the courier — the delivery fee the customer pays doesn't come out of your margin.
What happens if a customer cancels?
Before dispatch, they're refunded and nothing is taken from you, because your earnings are still pending at that point. After dispatch we handle it with you case by case.
How long does verification take?
Two working days from when we have your document and your bank account.
How many brands are you taking?
We're starting with 20 to 30 with real catalogues. The first 30 approved get the founding rate.
